Calculator inputs stay in your browser

The numbers you enter into the calculators, such as price, down payment, rent and income-related assumptions, are processed in your browser. They are not sent to our servers or to any other party as part of using the calculators.

Closing the page or clearing your browser data discards anything you have not saved.

Saved scenarios stay on your device

If you save a scenario, it is stored in your browser’s local storage on your own device. It is not uploaded, and we cannot see it. Because it lives in your browser, it will not appear on another device or browser, and it can be lost if you clear site data or use a private window.

You can delete saved scenarios at any time from within the tool or by clearing your browser’s site data.

If you send us an enquiry

The MITEY form sends your name, email, optional phone and the exact question shown in its preview only after you agree to storage and a reply. Your calculator inputs and saved plans are not attached. Submitting creates a record in MITEY’s private enquiry desk and an internal email alert. You receive an on-page reference; this is not a mortgage application or a promise of approval.

We also record the source page, the referring page without its query or fragment, and any campaign labels from the page URL. Hosting and abuse-prevention systems process technical information, including a protected IP-derived identifier, to limit duplicate or abusive requests. Cloudflare provides hosting and enquiry storage; Resend delivers internal alerts. Service providers may process information outside Canada under their applicable safeguards.

The PRPTY property link opens your email app to info@prpty.ca. It does not submit the MITEY form or automatically copy your calculator information. Information sent by email is handled by the recipient and email providers. Contacting either team is optional; please do not send passwords, account numbers or your social insurance number.

Technical information and cookies

Like most websites, the site’s hosting and security systems may process standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site can load, stay secure and be maintained. If we use analytics or similar tools to understand which pages are useful, we aim to do so in a way that respects your choices, and we ask for consent where it is required.

We do not use your calculator inputs for advertising.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only where needed to respond to your request, such as with the real-estate professionals you asked to hear from, with service providers who help us operate the site under appropriate safeguards or where the law requires.

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed for the purpose it was provided and for legal or record-keeping reasons.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information you gave us, or withdraw your consent to contact, by writing to hello@mitey.ca. We will respond as required by applicable Canadian privacy law.
